The Person-Centred Approach

What is it?

Person-centred therapy is a talking therapy where the space created allows you to take the lead in the conversation. As the therapist, I will not judge and will attempt to fully understand your thoughts and feelings.

The therapeutic process facilitates your self-discovery and self-acceptance.

I work within the BACP Ethical Framework, you can find out more here.

Who is it for?

Therapy is for anyone who feels that they might be better off building their self-confidence, a stronger sense of self, the ability to build healthy relationships and to trust their own decisions. It can also be helpful for anyone who suffers from grief, depression, anxiety, stress, abuse or relationship issues.

Every individual is unique and I believe that your own unique thoughts, wishes, beliefs and experiences is the most important part of the therapeutic process.
